In 2022, I discovered the island of Zanzibar with Wilson from Green Inspirations DMC. It was an extension on my trip to Tanzania. Zanzibar is sensuous and exotic. It is also reasonably manageable in terms of distances and self-drives are definitely possible there. One boutique hotel that particularly charmed me is the Z Hotel. It offers about 40 rooms and is the perfect base for numerous activities. They themselves offer morning yoga on a breezy rooftop, you watch the sunset with a cocktail in your hand and then organise a cool dinner at their Sexy Fish restaurant.
