Athens: Trikes, Islands, and Rooftop Magic
By Iris Mertens
Athens is alive, vibrant, and unapologetically fun — a city that invites your group to play, explore, and connect in style. I recently discovered the perfect three-day, two-night incentive journey, and I can’t wait to share it.
Day One
Day One
Day one kicks off with a twist: we hop on trikes — think motorized three-wheeled scooters — zipping through the city streets. Each stop is a playful dive into Athens’ culture and flavors. We marvel at the Olympic Arena, witness the Changing of the Guard, and admire the Acropolis from afar. Along the way, we sample homemade lemonade, sip a local Bretto’s liqueur, toast with Greek Retsina, dance the Sirtaki in a hidden alley, nibble olives and cheeses, and savor souvlaki with Greek beer. It’s a city tour like no other: fun, interactive, and delicious.
After check-in at a chic hotel, the afternoon is yours: lounge on the rooftop, take a swim, or simply soak in the energy of Athens. As evening falls, we move to another rooftop for dinner, with the Acropolis lit up before our eyes — a once-in-a-lifetime moment.
Day Two

Day two is all about the sea. We board speedboats to Aegina Island,
where team-building adventures await. Guests solve challenges, interact with locals to discover how souvlaki is made, and zip around the island on scooters. Lunch is a feast of mezze, Greek salads, grilled octopus, and fresh fish — pure Mediterranean bliss. Back on the mainland, we refresh and dive into Athens’ nightlife. Along the Vulliameni waterfront strip, beachclubs pulse with DJs, locals mingle, and your group dances the night away — a vibrant, youthful party by the water.

Day Three
On the final day, we take jeeps to Cape Sounion, sipping cocktails with the Aegean as our backdrop. On the way back, we stop at Margie Farm for a farm-to-table lunch, enjoying fresh, local flavors before heading home.
Three days, two nights: trikes, islands, rooftops, jeeps, cocktails, and dancing. Athens proves to be playful yet sophisticated, vibrant yet accessible, and perfect for incentive groups looking for energy, connection, and memories that last far beyond the city streets.
